Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Floor Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in commercial buildings within the Baton Rouge area. This includes stripping, waxing, buffing, and general floor care duties. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial floor maintenance, including knowledge of various floor types and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strip, wax, and buff floors in various commercial buildings to ensure a clean and polished appearance.
• Perform routine floor cleaning and maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Ensure floors are safe and free of hazards, promptly addressing any issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while performing duties.
• Travel to different building locations within the Baton Rouge area as scheduled.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist with other janitorial tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in floor care (strip, wax, buff) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Reliable transportation to travel to multiple locations in the Baton Rouge area.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
