Role and Responsibilities
Fire Camera tech will install cameras of various types and cable lengths, copper / composite cables.
• Install / mount cameras and data cabling along with fire alarm cables
• Install and mount Fire alarm devices and panels
• Ability to read drawings and formulate a plan with the team on best way to install the devices
Applicant must have actual Fire Alarm / Security / Cabling installation experience
Applicant must have experience Leading work, running crews and projects
Applicant must have their own reliable vehicle and basic tools of trade
1. Travel will include driving around DFW area to schools, badging may be required by schools
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Certification in Bisci, FAL, one FAL tech per site 5 sites
• 3-8 years’ experience in Fire installation
• client facing skills
• Reading and understanding blueprints / drawings
Preferred Skills
• Ability to do a daily / weekly status report
• Work as a team player, helping all tasks needed to assist in a successful project
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks and know or ask for next tasks to complete
• May lead into a team lead role
