Position Summary

In this role, you will conduct research, analyze data, and develop strategies to address environmental challenges, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainable practices

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork and laboratory analysis to assess environmental conditions.
  • Collect, manage, and interpret environmental data related to air, water, soil, and ecosystems.
  • Prepare technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory documentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental solutions.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Provide advice to our clients on environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and clients.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field from four-year college or university
  • 2+ years experience as an Environmental Scientist
  • Phase I ESA experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in GIS, environmental modeling software, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe, Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.

Work requirements

  • May require the ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and manipulate (carry, lift, move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds.
  • Ability to walk construction job sites and climb ladders is necessary.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical information and to analyze complex data.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related errands or to attend meetings may be required.
  • May need to be on project sites for extended periods of time.
  • Must have valid license to operate a motor vehicle.

Base Pay: $26.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
