GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is looking for a motivated Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Hootsett, NH . As an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer, you will work on a wide variety of exciting projects amongst a team of dedicated project managers and principals. GZA provides five core services; geotechnical, environmental, ecological, construction management, and water resources, which provides great opportunity to cross train between groups. You will be mentored by seasoned professional engineers, who will in turn look to you to share technical knowledge and ideas. Our success relies on this collaborative environment. Key Duties: Perform field tasks and assist with the technical execution of projects. Perform oversight of drilling and other subsurface explorations. Conduct construction oversight of various projects. Collect samples, prepare field reports, exploration logs, and figures. Assist with geotechnical analysis and reports. Perform additional task across all GZA disciplines including environmental, construction services, ecology, and water resources. GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your geotechnical work including environmental, construction management, and ecological services. Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are preferred. Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude. Ability to perform field tasks and activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a reliable means of transportation to/from project sites.
