Responsibilities Financial Reporting Responsible for preparation of consistent, timely, accurate, and reliable financial statements for the development, property management, and construction business, as well as providing supplemental financial reports as required or requested by senior management (includes general ledger maintenance, cash management, fixed assets, and project accounting) General Ledger Prepare and review the monthly financial statements and supplemental schedules Prepare audit and tax return workpapers, as required Maintain the Sage and Yardi accounting system AP, AR, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets Review subcontractor draws for compliance with payment policies and procedures; to include appropriate lien waivers, subcontractor insurance certificates, and associated documentation Prepare and review monthly project draws Maintain detailed fixed assets and depreciation schedules Review account coding and job cost allocation Ensure accuracy of accounts payable Review bank reconciliations, bank deposits, and annual 1099’s Corporate Accounting, Budgeting, and Analysis Manage the corporate, apartment property, and job cost budgeting process Assist senior management and project managers with creating the project budgets, overseeing to completion and implementation Update job cost detail reports as required to provide actual results Provide monthly budget vs. actual cost reports to management Review job estimates, budgets, subcontract agreements, change orders, etc. for compliance, documentation and accuracy Requirements Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with Controllership or managerial experience at a real estate company CPA a plus Experience with Sage and Yardi systems a plus Seniority level Seniority level Executive Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Finance, Analyst, and Accounting/Auditing Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at AquantUs, LLC by 2x Get notified about new Division Chief Financial Officer jobs in Alpharetta, GA .
