The Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health (AIHH) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai leads a pioneering collaboration with the Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine (CBIPM) and the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health (HPIMS) to transform the future of health care. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing AI Lab as a part-time Data Analyst I. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with exceptional data and computational resources. The role will be under the joint supervision of Dr. Ankit Sakhuja and Dr. Girish Nadkarni, who are committed to fostering the professional growth of our team members and promoting the dissemination of our groundbreaking findings.
Responsibilities - Works with lab members to identify and fulfil data extraction and analytical needs.
- Assists in the development of data management plans and guidelines that will deliver accurate, timelines consistent with quality data. Assures the quality control compliance process.
- Identifies and implements solutions to data management issues and concerns that arise during the conduct of research studies.
- Assists staff with technical issues related to electronic and remote record keeping systems; trains staff to help improve quality of data collected.
- Maintains knowledge of the current regulations and technologies related to data management.
- Write and prepare manuscripts and other materials for internal and external audiences.
- Help to build and perpetuate a practice environment and culture of collaboration, respect, learning, flexibility and fun among all team members
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics and/or related field, or combination of equivalent work experience and education. Masters degree in relevant field of study preferred.
- 2-3 years database application/management experience, preferably in a large medical center or healthcare environment.
- Experience with MS Office, SQL, Python, STATA, SAS, R (or similar)
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64893.79 - $74250 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
