Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to lead and manage the daily operations of our cybersecurity program in the North Dallas area. This role requires a proactive individual with technical expertise to drive threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and patching initiatives across a hybrid cloud environment. Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the Cybersecurity Operations team, ensuring effective management of analysts, incident responders, and vulnerability specialists.
• Implement and monitor threat detection and response tools, including CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, Rapid7 InsightIDR, and Proofpoint.
• Manage third-party patching strategies and execution, evaluating tools such as Patch My PC and Microsoft Intune.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation processes to safeguard enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain operational playbooks and standard operating procedures aligned with industry standards like ISO 27001.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and application teams to ensure secure software deployments and timely updates.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Support compliance audits and risk assessments to maintain regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide team members to cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous innovation.
