Responsibilities

1. Coordinate activities perform of facilities contractors.
2. Ensure and verify that all the areas, manages waste are in compliance with client standards and with Regulatory Agencies.
3. Follow-up of correctives actions in the Inspection Action Plan.
4. Perform EHS Inspection.
5. Ensure compliance and update the EHS programs documentation.
6. Conduct, coordinate and track training to support company programs.
7. Participate in Near Miss, Incident and Accident Investigations.
8. Verify project areas are kept clean and orderly.
9. Issue, organize and maintain documentation relating to work permits.
10. Help with documentation required by contractor’s program.
11. Make sure controls are in place to prevent construction project contaminants from entering production, laboratories and warehouse areas.
12. Audit the contractor machinery, tools and equipment for compliance to Safety and Environmental requirements, following cGMPs.
13. Planning and execution of shutdown, routine and no routine maintenance. Permit logistic, safety talk, LOTO plan and LOTO coordinator.
14. Prepare and evaluate Job Safety Analysis.
15. Provide support to Engineering Department during regulatory EHS audits.
16. Inform any safety deviations to Engineering and EHS Departments.
17. Evaluate requirements for work permits, for example: (Hot Work, Confined Space, General Works, Non-routine activities, Work at Heights, Fire System Impairment, LOTO, Excavations, Sprinkler Out of Services, Critical Lift, Interlock, By-pass).
18. Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/management, and/or client.

The employee may lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. He / she may frequently work inside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, and an odorous atmosphere, may be exposed to fumes and the risk of electrical shock, and occasionally work on ladders in high places, in small spaces, such as lift/metering stations, manholes, tanks and wet wells. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
