SRE is seeking a Communications Specialist responsible for supporting projects related to media relations, stakeholder communications, social media, digital platforms, and marketing aligned with strategic objectives.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Creating standardized communication procedures and templates based on industry best practices.
Developing project communications to inform stakeholders of activities.
Providing feedback and training on writing style, messaging, and appropriate media communication.
Evaluating the effectiveness of organizational communications.
Developing questionnaires, surveys, and focus group interview items.
Managing competing priorities through task prioritization and deadline setting.
Producing high-quality, error-free work that meets contractual requirements.
Maintaining integrity and a service-focused approach.
Exhibiting flexibility and resilience with clients and within SRE.
Driving continual learning and professional growth.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
Skills:
Ability to analyze complex documents.
Creative, energetic, and ethical with a professional image.
Well-organized, self-directed team player.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Experience with PCs, MS Office, Adobe, Google Mail, Citrix ShareFile, and online meeting platforms like Google Meet and Zoom.
Compensation:
Estimated salary range is $60,000 - $125,000/year, based on various factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs.
Work Environment:
Primary location is Washington D.C. Metro area. Remote work is allowed but not guaranteed; travel expenses outside the area are not reimbursed.
