Job Description

Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: $20-$27/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6am-2:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist for a company in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a temp to hire role.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machining centers to perform contouring, milling, drilling, and profiling on parts of varying sizes and thicknesses
- Read and interpret shop drawings and process sheets to ensure all operations meet design specifications and tolerances
- Work from shop drawings and process sheets to perform machining tasks accurately
- Maintain specified tolerances while inspecting own work using tools such as tape measures and micrometers
- Lead machine operation based on given specifications and communicate properly with management regarding job status and issues
- Operate multiple machines as needed to meet production schedules

CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Glass handling experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to read and understand drawings is preferred
- Strong math skills
- Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Follow directions eagerly and without hesitation
- Work well with others, including office, field, and fabrication personnel
- Able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
