The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Norfolk, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological services for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all. Your Role:

  • Provide psychological assessments to develop an appropriate level of treatment in accordance with relevant ethical and legal standards
  • Conduct and complete psychological and diagnostic testing to measure cognitive abilities, diagnosis of developmental and intellectual disabilities, and prepare written evaluation
  • Provide services appropriate to the age-specific needs of all patients, and their families, in accordance with the principles of growth and development for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric life cycles
  • Conduct mental health screenings
  • Manage psychosocial aspects of chronic and acute diseases
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes

What We Are Looking For:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA / CPA accredited or equivalent doctoral program with an APA / CPA accredited or equivalent doctoral internship required
  • Licensed or license eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Nebraska, or provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska and ability to obtain with 24 months required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
  • Knowledge of public health principles and practices
  • Experience in crisis intervention preferred
  • Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals in a public health setting
  • Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
