What You'll Do Keep our small-to-medium business customers happy, loyal and thriving by reducing controllable churn, solving problems, offering tailored incentives and uncovering upsell opportunities that meet customers' needs while assisting with billing inquiries.
Answer customer disconnect calls and resolve issues, saving the day with creative solutions and attractive offers.
Handle customer billing calls to create a best-in-class experience while assisting with billing needs.
Drive additional revenue with a focus on customer needs and exploring upsell opportunities.
Make outbound calls to inform customers about referral programs, new products, enhanced packages or renewals/upgrades.
Reach out to customers nearing contract expiration (3-6 months out) to secure renewals and identify upsell opportunities.
Negotiate pricing, products, promotions and terms; perform calculations for fees, time periods, pro-rations and competitive comparisons.
Troubleshoot and resolve service, pricing or technical issues, ensuring customers feel heard and supported.
Work with sales support to find the best solutions and resolve installation or service challenges.
Educate customers on how to maximize Cox Business products and services, including features, billing and charges.
Manage sales orders with the sales support team and provide valuable customer insights to the marketing team to help shape future strategies.
Who You Are You're an empathetic listener with a knack for solving problems.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience, or an associate/bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proficiency with computers and common business software.
Preferred An associate degree or technical certification in a related discipline.
B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas.
Background in revenue generation or customer retention roles.
Experience in the communications industry or with a major communications equipment vendor.
Compensation Hourly pay rate is $0.00 - $0.00/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on location and candidate experience. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target.
Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays per year. Eligible for additional paid time off for bereavement leave, voting, jury duty, volunteer time off, military leave and parental leave.
