Client Intake & Conflicts Analyst

A respected law firm in the Dallas area is seeking a Client Intake & Conflicts Analyst to join its risk and compliance team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate client/matter data and supporting the firm's conflict checking and new business intake processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform conflict of interest searches on prospective clients, matters, and lateral hires
• Analyze and summarize search results for attorney review
• Accurately enter and maintain client and matter data in the firm's intake and billing systems
• Monitor matter status and coordinate with departments on closures, updates, and archival requests
• Respond to intake and conflict-related inquiries from attorneys and staff
• Collaborate with internal departments including Records and Accounting
• Assist with ad hoc projects related to risk management, compliance, and data integrity
• Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience)
• 35 years of experience in client intake, new business processing, or legal conflicts of interest
• Familiarity with legal systems such as Intapp Open, Elite 3E, or comparable intake/conflict platforms
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
