RCA has organically grown House Points into a $1.6M-a-year product, with over 1,000 schools across the country subscribing to the program.With the explosive success of the app, RCA is looking for a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with proven EdTech SaaS start-up experience to drive the business to independence, guide RCA through a successful transition, position the company for substantial growth, and execute on its long-term vision.About the RoleAs the CEO of the House Points app company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software business in its early stages, including setting the strategic vision, building a strong team, managing finances, securing funding, driving product development, and representing the company to stakeholders, all while prioritizing rapid growth and market penetration within the competitive software landscape. This role requires a mix of leadership, technical understanding, business acumen, and adaptability to navigate the challenges of a nascent company.Key Responsibilities· Strategic Vision and Leadershipo Articulate a clear company vision and mission, aligning the entire team around its goals.o Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve market dominance.o Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards achieving them.· Team Building and Talent Acquisitiono Attract, hire, and retain top talent across all departments, particularly in operations, sales, and marketing.o Foster a positive and productive company culture.o Develop and empower a strong leadership team.· Product Development and Managemento Guide product roadmap development, ensuring alignment with business strategy, market needs, and customer feedback.o Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize features and optimize product development processes.o Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience.· Fundraising and Investor Relationso Ensure the company is capitalized for growth.o Prepare and present compelling pitch decks to secure investor funding.o Manage relationships with existing investors providing regular company progress updates.· Business Development and Saleso Collaborate with Sales team to create a strategic business development plan to identify and target potential customers, build strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth.o Collaborate with Marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to reach the target market.· Financial Managemento Oversee the company's financial health, including budgeting, cash flow management, and profitability.o Make informed financial decisions to support growth and sustainability.What We Offer· Salary: $185,000-$225,000· Equity grants available based on performanceLocation· Atlanta, GARequirements· Bachelor’s degree in Business, EdTech, or a related field; MBA preferred.· Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior leadership role within a SaaS start-up environment.· Proven experience casting a compelling strategic vision and elevating an organization’s visibility.· Proven ability in building high performing leadership teams.· Strong track record of successfully scaling SaaS products and driving business growth.· Deep understanding of financial management, analysis and modeling.· Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.· Demonstrated experience managing investor prospecting meetings and securing funding from investors and government sources.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.· Deep understanding of the EdTech landscape and customer needs.· Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes through technology.· Direct application development experience is a plus.Application Process:To ensure fairness and consistency in our hiring process, we kindly request all applicants to apply exclusively through the designated application portal.
