Associate (2026): Investment Team at Summit Partners Location: Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities Engage with entrepreneurs and executives of privately held companies to identify new investment opportunities.
Map industry sectors to find category-leading companies.
Attend trade shows and conferences, and review industry publications to enhance Summit Partners' database of private companies.
Conduct due diligence and quantitative analysis on new investments and add-ons.
Assist in managing portfolio company relationships and strategic projects.
Required Experience Two to three years of professional, quantitatively-based experience (typically from investment banking, direct investing, or consulting).
Proven track record of leadership skills and outstanding academic or professional achievements.
Qualifications Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to think quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail.
Passion for learning and genuine interest in business.
Resilience and optimism.
Typically a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
Additional Information The Associate position requires a three-year commitment. The role is based in Boston's Back Bay, offering competitive compensation and benefits, including access to an onsite gym and catered meals.
