Art Gallery Assistant job at Sheldon Fine Art Gallery. Newport, RI. Well established Fine Art Gallery in downtown Newport is seeking a highly motivated, energetic Gallery Assistant to join our team. General computer knowledge and experience in digital photo editing is preferred, along with an education or general interest in art. Experience with art handling and installation is also ideal. This position will include but not be limited to: documenting and inventorying artwork, managing databases, assisting clients in the gallery, handling and packaging artwork, installing artwork in homes/offices, framing, and assisting gallery sales staff.
