Location: The Villages, Florida

Ready to launch your architecture career and shape vibrant communities? Our forward-thinking firm in The Villages, Florida is seeking a passionate and talented Architectural Designer Level 1 to join our team! If you're eager to contribute to innovative and sustainable designs, this is your chance.

First, let's see if you've got what it takes:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills – you can clearly and persuasively present ideas.
  • A passion for sustainable design and creating environmentally responsible solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, while also showing initiative.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and deadlines.

Bonus Points (but not required!):

  • 1-2 years of experience in an architectural firm or similar setting (new grads, we still want to hear from you!).
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.

What you'll be doing:

As an Architectural Designer Level 1, you'll be a key player in bringing our innovative designs to life. You'll get to:

  • Collaborate with senior architects and designers on exciting projects that impact our communities.
  • Help create architectural drawings, stunning renderings, and compelling presentations using industry-leading software.
  • Dive into research on materials, building codes, and zoning to inform our design decisions.
  • Participate in client meetings, sharing your design ideas and insights.
  • Support project management by coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Contribute to developing sustainable design strategies that make a difference.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of architecture with the latest trends and technologies.
