Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Call Schedule | Flexible Hours
Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesia Assistant to join our dynamic perioperative team in Augusta, GA. In this vital role, you will work under the supervision of licensed anesthesiologists to support the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia care. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist anesthesiologists with the administration of anesthesia in surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia, ensuring safety and responsiveness to changing conditions.
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Accurately document all procedures and patient data using Epic Anesthesia or similar EHR systems.
Collaborate with surgical teams and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in a rotating call schedule and accommodate a flexible work schedule as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in anesthesia, anesthesiology, or Epic Anesthesia.
OR minimum of 1 year of experience in perioperative/surgical services or general surgery.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices, equipment, and patient safety protocols.
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
